The Palestinian Forum in Britain organized the 20th edition of the Palestine Festival at Byron Hall in northwest London, where the atmosphere was filled with Palestinian flags and traditional music, and thousands of attendees from the Palestinian diaspora participated. The organizers affirmed that the aim of the festival is to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and highlight the suffering of Gaza, as the festival raised more than $50,000 to sponsor orphans and winter relief programs in the sector, in light of a severe humanitarian crisis suffered by 97% of Gaza's population, according to the British government. The event included artistic and heritage performances, dabke performances, and musical segments, in addition to a charity auction for an artwork that sold for more than $8,000, as well as honoring figures and institutions supporting the Palestinian cause. The forum affirmed that the festival is not just a cultural celebration, but a message of solidarity and resistance to the suffering in Gaza, with events continuing in Edinburgh under the slogan "United for Gaza."
