**Arab Sea - Follow-ups:** German media reported that Evelyn Palla, currently responsible for regional lines at the German railway company "Deutsche Bahn," will be the first woman to head the company. In response to a question about Palla's appointment, a spokesperson for the German Ministry of Transport said, "We neither confirm nor deny. We plan to communicate on Monday," according to Agence France-Presse. German Transport Minister Patrick Schneider will present details of the "reform" of "Deutsche Bahn" on Monday, where the name of its new president, male or female, is likely to be revealed at the same time. In mid-August, the German government announced the dismissal of the company's CEO, Richard Lutz, after he faced harsh criticism, especially for trains not adhering to their schedules. Lutz, 61, has been the head of "Deutsche Bahn" since 2017 and is expected to remain in his position until a successor is appointed. "Deutsche Bahn," which is wholly owned by the German federal government, suffers from dilapidated infrastructure and is still burdened with debt despite the recent sale of its "Schenker" logistics subsidiary.
