The investigations indicated that Hamas used this data to develop a special training program for its elite members, which included simulating the operation of tanks using full-size models, with the aim of being able to control them in the future. Although the plan to control the tanks was not fully implemented, a number of them were actually disabled using the internal button, preventing them from participating in the fighting. The investigations confirmed that Hamas was aware of operational codes, security maps, and weaknesses in fortifications, taking advantage of security vulnerabilities and the behavior of Israeli army personnel on the Internet.
