**Arab Sea - Follow-ups:** The Iranian "Tasnim" news agency revealed an escalating political movement within the Coordination Framework, composed of Shia forces loyal to Iran, to choose a replacement for Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, despite his "Development and Construction" coalition leading the recent parliamentary elections, according to preliminary results. According to the report, three names have emerged as strong candidates to lead the next government: Abdul Amir al-Shammari, the Minister of Interior; Hamid al-Shatri, the head of the Intelligence Service; and Qasim al-Araji, the National Security Advisor. The agency confirmed that these individuals have the greatest support within the Shia bloc. This is accompanied by the "Coordination Framework" adhering to several conditions for choosing the head of government, most notably: having a good behavioral record, establishing balanced relations with the United States and Iran, pledging not to form a political party or movement, in addition to agreeing that his office be formed by a special committee affiliated with the Framework. In a notable development, "Tasnim" revealed that al-Sudani's chances of renewal have declined significantly after he rejected the condition of pledging not to establish his own political movement, which raised reservations within the Coordination Framework. In the same context, the agency indicated that the name of former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi was raised in the discussions, but he officially apologized for running, which increased the possibility of pushing forward a new figure who has not previously held the position, a point that is still a point of contention within the Coordination Framework.
