Yemen: Al-Ahli Club in Hadramaut honors boxing and swimming players

Arab Sea - Reports: The Board of Directors of Al-Ahli Sports, Cultural, and Social Club in Ghayl Ba Wazir honored the players of the boxing team, which won third place in the qualifiers for the first Hadramout Boxing Cup, and the swimming team players for their distinguished and active participation in the town's open water swimming championship in Mukalla. During the honoring, the president of Al-Ahli Club, the esteemed media figure Omar Faraj Obbad, praised the technical level shown by the boxing players in the qualifiers for the first edition of the Hadramout Cup, which resulted in the team achieving third place, stressing the Board of Directors' support for all the team's requirements to continue training and prepare for future participations, and to approve and provide additional tools and supplies for training, especially for the game, and a special uniform. Club President Omar Obbad praised the efforts of the club's swimming team in their participation in the town's championship and their keenness to represent the club in the championship, in which more than fifty swimmers from coastal clubs participated, and to appear in a distinguished and honorable manner in the presence of professional swimmers, expressing his interaction with the proposals submitted by the swimming team regarding the development of the game and how to continue it and attract new youth, stressing his readiness to provide support and the Board of Directors' keenness and interest in providing all facilities and providing tools and supplies for the game, and communicating with the federation branch to hold joint activities in the future, choosing a coach, and allocating days for them to practice swimming in a swimming pool. For his part, the coach of the boxing team, Captain Ahmed Khaled Bayounis, and the swimming game official, on behalf of the players, expressed their thanks and appreciation to the club president and members of the Board of Directors for this honoring, which confirms their keenness to pay attention to all games and the efforts made by the players in representing the club despite the limited capabilities, pointing out that this honoring represents a great incentive for the players, stressing that they will make more effort to achieve a positive result in all future participations.
