Arab Gulf_Translations: Egyptian international and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah embarrassed the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) on Saturday with 3 questions about the death of "the Pelé of Palestinian football," Suleiman Al-Abeed. The Liverpool star commented on a post on the Union of European Football Associations' account mourning the Palestinian star. The Union of European Football Associations' post read: "Farewell Suleiman Al-Abeed, the Pelé of Palestine, a talent that gave hope to countless children, even in the darkest of times." Salah reposted this tweet and said: "Can you tell us how he died, where, and why?" Salah's tweet received widespread interaction on the "X" platform. Less than an hour after it was posted, it garnered more than 12,000 likes, 100,000 reposts, and 287,000 comments. It was viewed by more than 11 million people. Al-Abeed passed away a few days ago after being shot by the Israeli army while waiting for humanitarian aid in the southern Gaza Strip. Abeed was born on March 20, 1984, in Gaza City, and was married with five children. He began his sports career with the Al-Shati Services Club, then moved to the Al-Amari Club in the West Bank, where he won the first professional league title in 2010, before returning to Gaza and joining the ranks of the Gaza Sports Club, where he was crowned top scorer in the league in the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 seasons. He also participated in 24 international matches with the Palestinian national team. Al-Abeed scored more than 100 goals throughout his football career, making him one of the most prominent stars of Palestinian football.
