((Arabian Gulf)) Agencies: Bayern Munich, who compete in the German Football League First Division, announced on Wednesday that they have signed Colombian winger Luis Diaz for four years from Liverpool. The two sides did not disclose the financial details, but British media reported that Bayern paid around 75 million euros ($86.67 million) for the services of the Colombian international (28 years old). Diaz's contract with Liverpool extended until June 2027, and he had moved to them from Portuguese Porto in 2022 for 50 million euros. Diaz participated in 148 matches in all competitions over four seasons with Liverpool, scoring 41 goals and providing 23 assists. His best performance in the English Premier League came last season when he helped Liverpool win the league title and equal the record for the number of league wins with 20 titles, scoring 13 goals and assisting in seven other goals in 36 matches. Diaz also helped Liverpool win the FA Cup in 2022 and the League Cup in 2022 and 2024.
