((Bahralarab)) Follow-ups: Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and Chairman of the 2030 World Cup Organizing Committee, commented on the news circulating about the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in the Spanish capital, Madrid, hosting the 2030 World Cup final. Lekjaa explained, during his appearance on a special program on the Moroccan "Al-Oula" channel, that the process of selecting the stadiums that will host the upcoming World Cup matches will be subject to coordination and negotiation between Morocco, Spain, and Portugal, in addition to the International Federation of Football Associations "FIFA". The head of the Moroccan committee in charge of organizing the 2030 World Cup said: "Decisions related to the World Cup are not taken by club presidents, but by the organizing committees of the three countries in coordination with FIFA." He added: "The press is free to publish what it wants, but what is certain so far is that Morocco, Spain, and Portugal have won the honor of organizing this global event, and nothing is official yet regarding the distribution of matches or the determination of the final stadium." Lekjaa mentioned that Morocco is experiencing a golden stage in its football journey, both at the level of national teams and continental clubs. In recent days, many global news outlets have circulated the news of the selection of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium to host the 2030 World Cup final. Portugal had withdrawn from the race to host the World Cup final due to a lack of infrastructure, leaving the competition fierce between Morocco and Spain.
