Barcelona succeeded in turning their one-goal deficit into a well-deserved 3-1 victory over Atletico Madrid in the postponed match from the 19th round of the Spanish League, which was held on Tuesday evening, due to the two teams' upcoming participation in the Spanish Super Cup next January in Saudi Arabia. Despite a shaky start, Barcelona managed to impose their control in the second half, with Rafinha, Dani Olmo, and Ferran Torres scoring the Catalan team's goals, while Pedri also shone in midfield. The quartet received a rating of 8 out of 10 for their outstanding performance. In contrast, Robert Lewandowski disappointed the fans after missing a penalty in a strange way and continued his lackluster performance throughout the match. As for Barcelona's worst player, it was the young Pau Cubarsí, who caused Atletico Madrid's opening goal after failing to implement the offside trap, and repeating the same mistake later, which almost cost Barcelona the draw if it weren't for the Atletico player missing the opportunity. The victory gives Barcelona a strong boost in the La Liga race and sends a serious message before the upcoming local and continental commitments.
