The national youth team achieved a resounding victory over its counterpart, the Guam national team, after defeating it with a score of 10-0 in the match that brought them together today, Monday, in Kyrgyzstan, as part of the second round of Group B qualifying for the 2026 AFC U-17 Asian Cup. The national team's goals were scored by: Youssef Fadel (minute 2) Haitham Al-Faqih (minutes 3 and 35) Silan Bashir (minutes 8 and 44) Fahd Al-Faqih (minutes 42 and 45+2) An own goal scored by Guam player Haruki (minute 77) Mohammad Sadiq (minute 88) Ahmed Nasser (minute 90) With this sweeping victory, the national team raised its score to six points, equal with the leading Laos team in the number of points and goals. The youth team is preparing to play its third match next Wednesday against the Cambodian team, which holds fifth place in Group B, in a match through which it hopes to enhance its chances of seizing a qualifying card.
