Arab Sea - Follow-ups: The Norwegian Football Federation announced yesterday, Monday, that the ticket revenues from Norway's match against Israel in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers will be allocated to Doctors Without Borders to support its efforts to alleviate "human suffering" in Gaza. The head of the Norwegian Federation, Lisa Klaveness, said at a press conference that the match scheduled for October 11 in Oslo "will be held in light of severe human suffering, and we cannot remain indifferent to this situation." She added, "We believe that it is perfectly justified to allocate ticket revenues to Doctors Without Borders, which provides emergency and tangible assistance on the ground in Gaza." Klaveness criticized the "disproportionate attacks targeting Gaza for far too long." The match will be held at the Ullevaal Stadium, which has a capacity of 27,000 spectators, noting that the tickets have been completely sold out. For her part, Lindis Hurum, Secretary-General of the Norwegian branch of Doctors Without Borders, said: "We are deeply moved to see donors willing to make such a significant contribution in support of our colleagues who live in harsh and desperate conditions in Gaza, where they need all forms of support possible, both financial and moral." Norway, led by Manchester City's striker Erling Haaland, tops Group Nine with five wins from five matches, ahead of Italy and Israel. The Norwegian team won the away match, which was held at a neutral stadium in the Hungarian city of Debrecen on March 25, against Israel 4-2.
