Arabian Sea - Yemen - Special: The Yemeni youth national team (under 23 years) concluded its participation in the first edition of the Gulf Youth Cup, achieving second place after losing in the final match against its Saudi counterpart by three goals to one, in the match that brought the two teams together this afternoon at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Stadium in Abha, Saudi Arabia. With this victory, the Saudi "Green Falcons" were crowned champions of the inaugural tournament, while the Yemeni "Red" team settled for second place after a distinguished journey in which they showed a strong competitive character. The Yemeni national team's journey began with a narrow loss to Saudi Arabia (0-1) in the opening match, before regaining its balance with two consecutive victories over Qatar and Kuwait, thus securing qualification for the semi-finals. In the golden square, the Red team surpassed its Omani counterpart with two goals without a response, booking a historic ticket to the final, where they faced again the hosts who managed to clinch the title.
