Yemen: "Crushing" victory for the Yemeni national team over its Singaporean counterpart

Arab Sea - Reports: The Yemeni national team won today, Wednesday afternoon, against its counterpart, the Singapore national team, in the opening matches of Group C of the qualifiers for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup finals, scheduled to be held next year, 2026, in Saudi Arabia. Our team finished the first half leading by two goals from two penalty kicks scored by Mohamed Radhi and Abdulaziz Masnum in the 20th and 45th minutes. In the second half, the Singapore team was able to reduce the difference with a goal in the 80th minute, which came from a defensive error. In the final seconds, the Yemeni national team goalkeeper, Osama Makraf, saved his team's net from a certain goal with which Singapore almost equalized the score. With this victory, the team put the first three points in its account. In its next match in the second round, our team will face the Bangladesh national team on September 6 at 12 noon, before concluding the qualifiers with a match against the host country, the Vietnam national team, on September 9 at 3 pm.
