Arabian Sea - Yemen - Special: Our national youth team will begin its journey in the U-20 Gulf Cup tournament tomorrow, Thursday, with a tough match against its Saudi counterpart at the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City stadium in Al-Mahala in Abha, in an opening match that is considered the most difficult test for the young Red team. The team conducted its final training session this evening, Wednesday, led by coach Mohammed Al-Nufai'i, during which he focused on tactical and technical aspects, in addition to mentally preparing the players to face one of the most prominent teams nominated for the title. The match carries double importance, as it represents the key to crossing into the second round of the first group, which includes, in addition to Yemen and Saudi Arabia, the teams of Qatar and Kuwait. The Yemeni sports community pins its hopes on this generation to achieve a positive result that gives the team a moral boost to continue the journey steadily. In the press conference for the group, Al-Nufai'i explained that the preparation period was limited to an internal camp since last July, unlike the competing teams that had longer preparations, but he affirmed his confidence in his players' abilities to present an honorable image that reflects the aspirations of the Yemeni fans. According to what was approved at the technical meeting of the tournament, the match will start at four in the afternoon, Saudi time, where the Yemeni team will appear in full red uniform, while the Saudi team will play the match in green. The match is expected to be broadcast on several sports channels, including Saudi Sports, Al-Kass of Qatar, Iraqi Sports, and Omani Sports.
