Arabian Sea - Follow-ups: A French press report revealed that Real Madrid tops the list of clubs with the highest wages in the world, with a huge difference from its closest pursuer. Although Real Madrid is not the biggest spender on deals like other teams such as Chelsea and Manchester United in England or Paris Saint-Germain in France, and others, the situation is different at the level of salaries. The French newspaper "L'Equipe" explained in a report, quoting specialized sites in the financial affairs of clubs, that Real Madrid's payroll for the 2025-2026 season gives each player an average of 11.2 million euros per year, and this is of course an average and not the salary of each player. Despite its financial crises, Barcelona, Real Madrid's eternal rival, came in second on this list with a salary of 7.91 million euros per player. Barça suffers from non-compliance with the 1:1 rule and some other matters due to debts, but this did not prevent it from forming a strong team that monopolized the three Spanish championships, the league, the King's Cup, and the local Super Cup last season. Manchester City of England comes in third with an average salary of 7.43 million per player, followed by Bayern Munich, the German champion, with 7.38 million. As for Paris Saint-Germain, the French champion of the Champions League and runner-up in the Club World Cup, the average salary per player reached 7 million euros.
