**Arab Sea - Reports:** The spiritual leader of the Druze community in Israel informed his counterpart in Syria, Hikmat al-Hijri, that "there is no possibility of opening any humanitarian corridor from Israel towards Suwayda." This came according to sources who confirmed that the spiritual leader of the Druze community in Israel, Sheikh Muwaffaq Tarif, informed al-Hijri yesterday, Monday, that it is not possible to open any humanitarian corridor from Israel towards Suwayda, because any corridor would be through Daraa, which would be considered part of a "division project" for Syria. The source said that the humanitarian corridor will be through the Damascus-Suwayda road, and work is underway to open the road in the coming period. It is expected that about two thousand soldiers will be allocated to secure and protect the road. The spiritual leader of the Druze community in Syria, Hikmat al-Hijri, had called on Monday for international support for the separation of Suwayda from Syria. In a video that spread on social media, al-Hijri said: "We ask the world and free countries to stand by the Druze community to declare a separate region to protect us." He continued: "Our journey has begun with a new title after the recent ordeal, which was intended to exterminate the Druze community."
