Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: A teacher was seriously injured after being shot by gunmen due to a dispute over a piece of land in Al-Sayyani District, Ibb Governorate, which is witnessing escalating security chaos under the control of the Houthi group. Local sources stated that the teacher, Mohammed Saeed Al-Taweel, from the village of "Janad" in Al-Nuqailain sub-district, south of Ibb, was shot on Sunday by an armed group led by Ahmed Naji Aufan. According to the sources, Al-Taweel was hit by several bullets and was taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery to save his life. The sources indicated that the dispute between the two parties revolves around the ownership of land planted with khat.
