Arabian Sea - Yemen - Special: The Air Forecast and Early Warning Center predicted today, Monday, the continuation of thunderstorms of varying intensity on parts of the eastern, southern, and western coasts and mountain highlands up to the governorates of Saada, Taiz, Lahj, and Al-Dhalea, extending eastward to Al-Mahra, Hadhramaut, Shabwa, and Abyan. It also predicted that the weather will be hot to very hot in the desert areas and plateaus, and humid on the coasts, with active dust-raising winds. The center indicated that the sea will be light to moderate in most coasts, while it will be rough to very rough around the Socotra archipelago and the Arabian Sea, warning ship captains and fishermen of high waves, and citizens from being in the paths of torrents and areas of rockslides, and direct exposure to sunlight in desert and coastal areas.
