Arab Sea_Follow-ups: The supervisory teams of the Aden Industry and Trade Prosecution continue their intensive field campaigns on the drug market. On Sunday evening, they carried out a field visit to a number of pharmaceutical companies and agencies and medical supplies in Al-Mansoura district, which resulted in the closure of 11 violating medical agencies and institutions, and the opening of seizure reports against them. This campaign comes within the framework of implementing the directives of the Attorney General, Judge Qaher Mustafa, and under the direct supervision of Judge Waddah Badheeb, Head of the South Aden Appeals Prosecution, as part of a comprehensive plan aimed at controlling drug prices, monitoring the performance of pharmacies and medical institutions, and ensuring their compliance with the regulatory laws. Judge Dr. Sumaya Al-Qubati affirmed that these field visits represent a national priority due to their direct connection to the lives of citizens, stressing that protecting the drug market from manipulation and monopoly is a "national duty and a shared responsibility." According to the report issued by the campaign until August 24, 2025, about 50 violating pharmacies and medical institutions have been closed in various districts of the capital, Aden, as part of a phased supervisory plan covering all districts. In its decisions, the committee relied on the selling price index issued in April 2024, and current prices were compared by reviewing the data of the companies' electronic systems, in addition to examining legal licenses, seizing smuggled drugs, and ensuring compliance with health and hygiene requirements inside medical facilities.
