Heavy rainfall begins in Aden... Civil Defense warns.
Arab Sea Newspaper - Special
**Arab Sea - Special:** On Saturday morning, the Civil Defense in Aden Governorate called on citizens to stay in their homes and stay away from light poles and power lines to avoid any fatal accidents due to the continued heavy rainfall that the city's various districts have been experiencing since dawn. The Civil Defense confirmed in a statement reported by the "Arab Sea" newspaper that the heavy rains accompanied by floods may cause significant risks due to a possible electrical contact or the collapse of some buildings that are about to collapse, stressing the need to take caution and not go out except when absolutely necessary. Moderate to heavy rain also fell on various areas of Aden Governorate, bringing back memories of the flooding of streets and residential neighborhoods in recent days. From its first moments, the rain caused water to accumulate in a number of neighborhoods, amid the absence of adequate drainage networks, which raised residents' fears of the situation worsening if the rainfall continued for long hours. Aden has been experiencing weeks of weather fluctuations and repeated rains, which has exacerbated the suffering of citizens in the absence of radical solutions to address the dilapidated infrastructure in the city.
