Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The Coast Guard forces announced that their teams were able to recover the body of a young man after several hours of drowning in a pool of water in the city of Tarim, in the Hadramaut Governorate, eastern Yemen. The Hadramaut Coast Guard operations room said in a statement: "The evacuation and rescue teams were able, on Thursday evening, to recover the body of a young man who drowned in a deep pool of water in the Al-Suwairi area of Tarim city." The statement, published by the Coast Guard Media Center on its Facebook page, added that the victim had been trapped in the depths of the pool since early morning, and the search for him continued for hours until he was found. The "Coast Guard Operations" indicated that the evacuation and rescue teams, immediately upon receiving the report, "moved to the scene of the accident, equipped with diving teams and aquatic search equipment, amid difficult and challenging conditions, after repeated attempts by the residents to save the young man failed, after which the arduous search operation began, which resulted in the recovery of the body." The statement explained that the districts of Wadi Hadramaut have witnessed heavy rains in recent days, which have caused the formation of torrents and deep pools of water, "and we call on everyone to exercise extreme caution and stay away from the paths of torrents and water bodies in order to preserve their safety."
