Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The Coast Guard Authority, in all its sectors (Gulf of Aden Sector - Arabian Sea Sector - Red Sea Sector), warned all fishermen, coastal visitors, ferries, and leaders not to go out to sea and to suspend maritime traffic for the next 72 hours, due to the severe disturbance in the sea state as a result of the intensification of monsoon winds accompanied by heavy rains. The Authority explained in a warning that the warning and alert came based on warnings issued by the weather forecast regarding a low-pressure system and an unstable weather condition that includes strong winds and rough waves. It emphasized that the step aims to preserve the safety of fishermen, travelers, and coastal visitors. The Coast Guard Authority calls on the heads of fishermen's associations, fishermen, and maritime carriers to abide by the instructions and avoid sailing during this period, stressing the importance of raising the level of readiness and adhering to precautionary safety measures until the end of the weather condition, in order to preserve lives and property.
