Arab Sea - Follow-ups: The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Thursday the return of an Israeli who had been imprisoned in Lebanon for a year after negotiations with the help of the Red Cross. Netanyahu's office said in a statement: "Saleh Abu Hussein, an Israeli citizen who had been imprisoned in Lebanon for about a year, returned to Israel this afternoon." It added: "Following negotiations that took place in recent months with the help of the Red Cross, the citizen was transferred through the Ras al-Naqoura crossing from the Lebanese authorities to the Coordinator for Prisoners and Missing Persons, Brigadier General (Res.) Gal Hirsch (...) After being interrogated and undergoing an initial medical examination, the citizen was transferred by the Israeli army for comprehensive examinations in the hospital, after which he will meet with his family." According to the source, Israeli security forces are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
