Arab Sea - Follow-ups: On Wednesday evening, a large fire broke out at the Quality Factory for Plastic Industries in Marib Governorate, causing extensive damage and putting the facility out of service. Local sources said that the fire consumed most of the factory's contents, amid attempts by residents and the concerned authorities to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring sites. No casualties have been reported so far. The fire comes at a time when the Obaida area, where the factory is located, is witnessing frequent tribal clashes between tribal parties from the governorate, raising fears of exacerbating damage to economic and investment interests in the governorate. Local residents indicated that the ongoing tribal tensions forced the factory workers to leave earlier for fear of being exposed to danger, before the effects of these disturbances extended to a complete cessation of work after the outbreak of the fire.
