Arab Sea - Reports: On Thursday morning, Lauder District in Abyan Governorate witnessed widespread popular demonstrations at the foot of Thera Pass, during which protesters raised slogans demanding the urgent opening of the vital road that connects the district to neighboring areas. Protesters told the "Arab Sea" newspaper that the continued closure of the road has exacerbated the suffering of citizens, as movement has been disrupted and the interests of the people have been harmed, stressing that the pass is a fundamental artery for daily life, commercial and humanitarian activities. The demonstrators called on local and government authorities to quickly intervene to find urgent solutions that guarantee the opening of the road, pointing out that its closure doubles the suffering of patients, students, and citizens who depend on it mainly in their daily commutes. The participants in the demonstration affirmed that they will continue their peaceful movements until their legitimate demands to open the vital road and end the suffering of the people are met.
