Yemen: Prime Minister directs intensification of efforts to address damage from the air depression in Aden

Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The Prime Minister, Dr. Salem Saleh bin Brik, followed up today, Tuesday, with the leadership of the local authority in Aden Governorate, the efforts made to deal with the damage caused by the heavy rains that the city witnessed due to the low air pressure. The Prime Minister made a phone call to the Minister of State, Governor of Aden, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, who presented him with a report on the field conditions and the measures taken to address the repercussions of the depression and monitor the damage. Bin Brik directed the intensification of field efforts to address urgent needs, foremost of which are human damages, ensuring the continuation of basic services, opening roads, draining rainwater, and removing waste. He praised the efforts of the local authority in dealing with the disaster, stressing the importance of strengthening coordination between the central and local levels, and the necessity of community support to support these efforts, stressing the need to take the utmost caution and protect citizens.
