Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: The Haraz area, west of the capital Sana'a, witnessed the collapse of a historical building as a result of heavy rains that have caused the collapse of many other buildings and archaeological and historical sites in recent years, amid deliberate neglect by the Houthi militia. This collapse comes in light of the continued destruction and neglect of heritage sites as a result of the war waged by the Houthi militia, with Sana'a being among the most affected governorates, especially the Old City of Sana'a, which has suffered from deliberate neglect and the deterioration of its historical infrastructure. According to archaeological experts, the continuation of rains and climate changes, coupled with the absence of periodic maintenance, increases the risk of damage to archaeological sites, warning of the loss of large parts of the country's historical heritage if urgent measures are not taken to preserve them.
