Arabian Sea – Yemen – Follow-ups: The Air Forecast and Early Warning Center predicted today, Monday, scattered thunderstorms over parts of the western and southern highlands, extending to some eastern regions and the southern coasts and the Red Sea, with the possibility of being heavy in some areas. The center indicated that the weather will be hot to very hot in the coasts and deserts, where the maximum temperatures will reach about 40 degrees in Marib and Seiyun, and 36-38 degrees in Aden, Hodeidah, Lahj, and Zinjibar. The center warned citizens against being in the paths of torrents and being exposed to thunderstorms and rockslides. It also called on residents of the coasts and deserts to avoid direct exposure to sunlight. It also alerted fishermen and ship captains in the Arabian Sea and the Socotra archipelago to sea disturbances and high waves.
