Yemen: The Education Office in Aden announces a reduction in private school fees.

Arab Sea - Special: The Aden Education Office published an announcement last Thursday regarding a 30% reduction in private school fees. The announcement was as follows: In light of the changes taking place in the country, and because it is among our duties to facilitate and alleviate hardship from the obligations incumbent upon us, and since our common goal is based on tolerance, ease, alleviation of hardship, reduction of costs, and consideration of the circumstances of citizens in general and parents in particular, who bear the burden of private school fees, and since private and private schools are supervised by the Ministry and its branches in the governorates, based on the text of Article (42) of the Prime Minister's Decree No. (236) of 2004 regarding the Executive Regulations of Law No. (11) of 1999 regarding the regulation of private and private educational institutions, and since the Ministry and its branches in the governorates are responsible for all private and private educational institutions and authorized to grant, withdraw, or suspend their operating licenses, and are concerned with the tasks of supervision, monitoring, and follow-up based on Article (43) of the Prime Minister's Decree No. (236) of 2004 regarding the Executive Regulations of Law No. (11) of 1999 regarding the regulation of private and private educational institutions, and to facilitate all citizens and take into account all that has been mentioned, we have decided the following: Article One: Private school fees shall be reduced by (30%) in each of their categories and levels, and this shall be effective from the date of its issuance. Article Two: All education directors in the directorates shall follow up and supervise, through their specialists, the implementation of this decision, and prepare a record of anyone who violates it.
