Arab Sea - Follow-ups: Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism Muammar Al-Eryani accused the Houthi group of being fully immersed in the Iranian project, against the backdrop of their participation in processions in the Iraqi city of Karbala, describing these manifestations as an attempt to impose "alien and strange" rituals on Yemeni identity and history. Al-Eryani explained in a statement that "the current battle is not a fleeting political dispute, but a long-term conflict aimed at obliterating the Yemeni identity and integrating the country into the Persian project," considering that the awareness and steadfastness of the Yemenis represent "the first line of defense" in the face of this plan. He added that the appearance of the Houthis in such sectarian events reflects their endeavor to uproot Yemen from its Arab roots and turn it into an arena for implementing Iranian agendas at the expense of its stability and national identity.
