Arab Sea - Special: Financial expert Ali Ahmed Al-Tuwaiti confirmed that about 40,000 Yemenis fell victim to the fake "AITS" electronic trading platform in the past two weeks, as they transferred amounts of up to $12 million before the platform suddenly disappeared from the scene, sparking shock and anger among investors. Al-Tuwaiti pointed out that the lowest subscription amount was $80, and the highest amount was $900, with an average of about $300 per subscriber, which explains the large sums that were stolen in a short period. Al-Tuwaiti warned of the danger of such virtual platforms, stressing the need to verify the credibility of any platform before investing in it to avoid falling into the trap of electronic fraud, denouncing the continuation of this repeated financial bleeding that targets Yemenis repeatedly. He added: "People, these people get huge sums every three months and disappear, and most of the young people know in advance that they will lose, but they take risks to achieve initial profits, forgetting that they are exploiting their Yemeni brothers. Participating in these platforms is morally and financially forbidden, and whoever promotes them profits at the expense of others." Al-Tuwaiti warned that any new platform may appear soon in the same way to steal tens of millions again, calling on everyone to be vigilant and rational before engaging in any suspicious investments.
