Arab Sea - Follow-ups: Tunisian writer and thinker Dr. Mazen Al-Sharif published a message of condolence for the martyrdom of journalist Anas Al-Sharif in Gaza. Al-Sharif indicated in a post he published on his social media account, expressing his pain for what is happening in the region, linking the sacrifice of Anas's martyrdom to reality. Al-Sharif said in his post: "I swore that I would not write a word about this nation, after all that I have written in prose and poetry. I was determined to let God's decrees run in God's kingdom, because thought is of no use to those who are asleep, because words do not avail anything in the face of tragedy, and because the enemy has surrounded us, and we have helped him against us, so some of us have surrounded others, gossip spreads among us, the vile rise, the foolish speak, the wise are abandoned, and the honorable are accused. But every time I find myself facing a provocative pain that cannot be silenced or retreated from. The disease of this nation is chronic and rampant, and killing is killing, and the innocent are the innocent on the altar of truth, whether they are killed by the cursed Yazid, or a Zionist criminal, they are all Hussein of his time, and they are all another wound in the chest of a prophet of the end of time. Anas Al-Sharif, a piece of the Prophet's flesh and blood, a young man the age of a rose, a journalist who conveys the facts as the camera eye sees them clearly, but Zion does not care about any covenant, and does not care about anything. Is it possible for us not to grieve? And is it possible for us not to see the face of the slaughtered son of Fatima in the face of Anas, who was killed treacherously and unjustly?! And will this nation emerge after this in revolt, and will the deniers abandon their denial, and the corrupt their corruption, so that we may be one rank in the face of one enemy, and not be torn apart by sectarianism, and not be divided by sectarianism, and not gather except under the tent of truth, that wide and comprehensive Muhammadan tent that everyone has abandoned except for a few patient strangers. This is undoubtedly a sick nation, imagining victory in the wrong places, and refusing to see the truth even if the argument is established against it, and among them are those who are more evil than Zion, greater than Pharaoh in arrogance, narrower than Nimrod in heart, and bolder in falsehood than Satan himself, a nest for traitors, a source of wickedness, a place for fools, and a home for hypocrites throughout time. The righteous in it are strangers, and the truth is strange, and a voice shakes it with the cries of the afflicted and the afflicted, so how many oppressed and oppressors, and how many ignorant people slander a scholar, and how many affect safety while they are not safe. I realize very well that the nation contains a nation that is the best nation brought forth for mankind, but it is hidden, folded, displaced, scattered, besieged like refugee tents, hatred bombards it, ignorance throws it, and prostitution and excommunication snatch at it, like queues of hungry people who are thrown by planes and bombed by rocket launchers. My dear cousin Al-Sharif, am I sad for you, and for our people in Gaza, beyond what language can describe? Did I cry in secret and pray for you in my whispers? You are now in a world that allows you to know everything. The time of waiting has been long, and the traitors have trapped us in the trap of the illusion of victory, until that day was followed by massacres and destruction. And you are now in a generous neighborhood, and we are here waiting, may God's command come, so that your eye and the eye of your master and the eyes of the good people may be pleased, or we may join you in the shadow of the throne of the strong and mighty, and the embrace of the presence of the trustworthy Mustafa. Oh, Anas, how painful is alienation, how bitter is the truth, and how ugly is the face of the world. To the mercy of God and the paradises of His heaven, my beloved, with every child, every woman, and every man who was killed unjustly, from the family of Yasser to the family of Hussein, and from those who were before them and after them, until God brings His command, which is beyond doubt.
