Arab Sea_Yemen_Reports: Political writer Hani Ali Salem Al-Baid indicated that the major game being played today between those who possess weapons and those who possess external decision-making power is for the sake of redrawing the maps of interests and alliances in the region. Political writer Hani Al-Baid said that "the upcoming scene in the region will not only be a conflict of influence, but a redrawing of the maps of interests and alliances." Al-Baid added: "Today, the major game is being managed between those who possess weapons and money and those who possess the ability to issue influential and decisive external decisions in the affairs of the region..!" Al-Baid affirmed that the people have been left hostage to poverty and division, saying: "But in Yemen, the sovereign decision is still confiscated!! And the parties are moving according to margins drawn from abroad economically and politically, while the people in the north and south are left hostage to poverty and division!" Hani Al-Baid indicated that the map of Yemen may be drawn with non-Yemeni ink, explaining this by saying: "In return, alliances change, loyalties may be bought, and maps may be drawn with non-Yemeni ink one day!" Al-Baid wondered about the future of Yemen, with its south and north, saying: "The question is: Will we wake up to a unified Yemen on the terms of others... or to a south and north without features? And who will win the time... and who will lose everything?"
