**Arab Sea - Lahj - Special:** The Director General of the Industry and Trade Office in Lahj, Abd Rab Al-Jaafari, demanded in an official memo submitted to the representative of the Yemeni Gas Company in the governorate, to address the company to reduce the prices of domestic gas cylinders in line with the exchange rate of the Yemeni riyal against foreign currencies and in order to alleviate the suffering of citizens. In his memo, Al-Jaafari requested the gas representative to provide the Industry Office with the prices received from the gas company after the decrease, pointing out that the price of a gas cylinder for large consumers before July 28 reached 10,500 Yemeni riyals, equivalent to 14 Saudi riyals. When the exchange rate fell, we were surprised that the Yemeni Gas Company fought fiercely against the citizens and sells for 10,500 Yemeni riyals, equivalent to 24 Saudi riyals per gas cylinder, which is basically at an exchange rate of 6,000 Yemeni riyals. Al-Jaafari called on the representative of the gas company in the governorate to communicate with the company as quickly as possible and implement the procedures like the private commercial companies that have responded, while the gas company has not responded until now, but has raised the price to 24 Saudi riyals.
