Arab Sea - Follow-ups: Last Monday evening, security services arrested a number of people who were meeting at one of their homes in the city of Irbid to discuss topics related to the banned Muslim Brotherhood group. According to an informed source for the Jordanian News Agency (Petra), the judicial police arrested the individuals and referred them to the judiciary to take the necessary legal action after their participation in the meeting, which was called for in an organized manner and was under the observation and supervision of the concerned authorities. The meeting is considered a violation of the law. Since the group was banned, security services have observed circumvention of the ban decision by meeting under various pretexts, most notably holding meetings and gatherings in the homes of cadres regularly working with the banned group in the form of "social events."
