Yemen: Child saves his sister from attempted kidnapping in Dhamar

Arabian Sea - Yemen - Follow-ups: Activists on social media circulated today a video taken by a surveillance camera in a neighborhood of Dhamar city, documenting the moment a child rescued his sister from an attempted kidnapping carried out by a veiled woman. The video shows the woman approaching the girl and taking her away from the place, before her younger brother notices, who rushed to catch up with them and managed to snatch his sister from her grasp and return her to safety. The incident sparked a wide wave of interaction on social media, amid warnings of the increasing incidents of child abduction in areas controlled by the group, and calls for parents not to leave their children unattended, and to strengthen community protection measures to reduce these crimes.
