Yemen ((Arabian Sea)) Special: Yemenia Airways announced today, Friday, the addition of a new A320 aircraft - "Hotel Ausan" - to its fleet, in a move described as reflecting the company's determination to modernize and develop, despite the challenges and difficulties facing the aviation sector in Yemen for years. In a statement issued by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, Captain Nasser Mahmoud Mohammed, he expressed his pride in this new achievement, stressing that the addition of the aircraft represents a moment of pride for all the company's staff, and a clear message that "belonging to Yemenia is not just a job, but a national and historical responsibility." Captain Nasser said: "You have proven that sincerity, perseverance, and clinging to hope in the most difficult circumstances is what makes the difference, and it is what has kept the Yemenia flag raised, flying in the skies of the world, despite the strong winds that have swept the aviation sector in our country." He added that this step comes within an integrated plan aimed at modernizing the fleet and expanding the airline network, stressing that work is continuing to restore Yemenia's position as one of the most prominent airlines in the region. The Chairman of the Board also extended his thanks and appreciation to all the company's employees, including pilots, engineers, cabin crew, and administrators, stressing that the spirit of one team and confidence in the future are the basic pillars for continuing progress. Yemenia Airways is one of the oldest airlines in the region, and in recent years it has managed to maintain its continuity despite the war and the deterioration of airport infrastructure and technical services, relying on the efforts of its staff and their will to face challenges.
