Abyan: Arrest of those involved in the Zanzibar riots.

Abyan ((Arabian Sea)) Special: The Abyan Governorate Security Department received a report of riots and attacks on a number of shops and exchange offices in the city of Zinjibar, including the breaking of glass facades. Joint security forces moved to the scene of the events under the direct instructions of the governorate's security director, Brigadier General Abu Mashal Al-Kazemi, where they imposed full control and were able to arrest a number of those involved in the riots and outlaws, and restored calm and public order to the city. Forces from Abyan Security, the Security Belt, and Zinjibar Police participated in the operation, and those arrested were transferred to complete the necessary legal procedures, where some of them confessed in the initial investigations to their participation in the riots. The security services in Abyan - represented by the security forces, the Security Belt, and the Counter-Terrorism Unit - warned against undermining the security and stability of the capital, Zinjibar, or the rest of the directorates. Stressing that there will be no leniency with anyone who dares to incite chaos under any pretext, and that there are specialized authorities that will do their duty in monitoring prices and apprehending violators according to the law. Criminal investigation teams have also begun the process of tracking and reviewing surveillance cameras to pursue those who fled from participating in the riots, and they will be arrested and legal measures will be taken against them. The security services called on all owners of affected shops to go and submit official reports to ensure that they obtain their rights through legal channels. The Abyan Security Department indicated that the riot was for a short time until the matter was resolved and those who caused the riot were arrested, and the search for the rest of the others is underway.
