**Al-Mukalla ((Arabian Sea)) Special:** **The youth of Al-Mukalla issued a statement today, Friday, regarding the popular protests that the governorate's capital has witnessed in recent days.** **The statement read: "Our fathers and brothers in Al-Mukalla... We did not take to the streets and ignite the protests with prior arrangement or hidden support, but rather we were driven out by the suffering from electricity when its outages reached unbearable hours due to the authority and Amr's checkpoints.** **We were angry and went out spontaneously, followed by ordinary arrangements with our brothers in some neighborhoods for the sake of coordination. We do not belong to parties or components.** **We are not advocates of chaos or sabotage, and if some of us made mistakes here and there, this is normal for a spontaneous movement, but we listen to our wise men and elders, and we quickly alert each other and retreat from some steps and correct our mistakes. This is the nature of the Hadrami and the Mukallawi. Our anger peaked when the electricity outage exceeded 40 hours for the first time in our history, and even our fathers did not see such an outage, and the tragedy is not due to a lack of capabilities, but rather deliberate for malicious political purposes that became clear to us today when some tried to exploit our anger to ride the wave, and even began issuing statements in the name of the angry youth, sometimes calling it (the Escalation Committee) and sometimes by other names, and promoting lies against the Hadrami Elite Forces, who treated us with respect from the beginning despite the peak of our anger two days ago.** **We, the youth of Al-Mukalla, disavow those who are trying to invest and direct the anger of the protesters towards their political opponents, especially Governor Bin Madhi, whom we hold primarily responsible as the person in charge, but we also hold Amr Habrish the rest of the responsibility as he created checkpoints that targeted electricity fuel tankers. So how can the likes of Sabri bin Makhashin and Al-Walid bin Shamlan from the plateau try to polish Amr, who set up the checkpoints, and even issue statements in our name and try to determine the targets for us to storm, and incite against the Hadrami Elite Forces, who are our brothers and neighbors, and spread false news that they fabricate against them.** **Although we were aspiring to escalate and exploit our exit for other service demands, we preferred not to be fuel used by those who are the root of the problem, and we announce the suspension of our spontaneous movement because its infiltration has become clear, and we are not ignorant, for we include university and secondary school students, and we do not accept being tools against our security and our city, and in whose hands? In the hands of those accused of disrupting our electricity and increasing our suffering."** **We say it to them in a loud voice (Neither Amr nor Mabkhout, Hadramout rejects you)**
