Aden ((Arabian Sea)) Special: Today, Thursday, the Prime Minister, Salem Saleh bin Brik, directed the Ministry of Industry and Trade to coordinate with the relevant ministries and local authorities in Aden and the liberated governorates to form field teams and implement monitoring and inspection campaigns to control the prices of goods and food supplies, in line with the significant improvement in the exchange rate of the national currency. The Prime Minister stressed the need to obligate all traders and suppliers of basic and consumer goods to review their current prices and reduce them in proportion to the decrease in exchange rates to alleviate the burdens on citizens, take into account the humanitarian situation, and exercise moral and national responsibility to reduce this suffering. He stressed that achieving stability in the exchange rate of the national currency must be matched by a parallel decrease in the prices of food and consumer goods. A government source explained that the government's policy is based on protecting the interests of citizens while at the same time protecting and developing the private sector, pointing out that improving the economy and developing economic resources is an integrated responsibility to overcome the suffocating crisis.
