**((Arab Sea)) Follow-ups:** The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on Wednesday for more aid to be sent to the Gaza Strip. In a tweet on its official "X" platform account, Netanyahu's office said: "Hamas stole food from its people. Israel acted. We airdropped aid to civilians in Gaza, and we called on other countries to join us." It added: "Some have already done so. We provided the atmosphere, secured the drops, and made sure the food arrived." It continued: "Any country that truly wants to help is welcome to join us." Israel imposed a comprehensive aid ban on the Gaza Strip on March 2 after negotiations to extend the ceasefire failed. In late May, Tel Aviv resumed the entry of aid at a modest level, despite warnings of the risk of famine. This week, Israel announced daily pauses in its military operations in parts of the Gaza Strip and opened safe routes to allow UN agencies and other humanitarian organizations to distribute food in the sector inhabited by more than two million Palestinians.
