Literacy Administration Provides Humanitarian Support to Female Inmates in Aden Prison

Today, the Director-General of Literacy and Adult Education in Aden Governorate, Dr. Essam Muqbili (Abu Amr), accompanied by a staff from the Women's Literacy Department, made an inspection visit to the Central Prison Correctional Facility in Aden Governorate, where they were briefed on the conditions of the female inmates studying literacy in the first and second levels. This visit aims to encourage the inmates to engage in and continue their education to change the course of their lives for the better. The General Administration of Literacy in Aden Governorate provided in-kind support to the female literacy students from the inmates, provided by the Abu Hatem Banafe' Foundation, which included: jalabiyas, veils, prayer shirts, detergents, baby diapers, women's diapers, sugar, and educational notebooks. Dr. Essam also gave a word of thanks to the pioneering Abu Hatem Foundation, a partner in charitable work, whether in the field of education or the humanitarian aspect. He also urged the inmates to continue their education and not to be satisfied with the certificate of liberation. Mr. Wahib Al-Assili, Director of Training and Rehabilitation at the Correctional Facility, gave a word of thanks to the Literacy Department in Aden Governorate for its interest and follow-up of literacy classes for inmates. Judge Nasser Madhash, representative of the Public Prosecution in the Central Prison Correctional Facility, delivered a supportive speech to the studying inmates, saying: "We support any direction that contributes to changing the level of the inmate's life and its course for the better, as education is the effective means of changing the individual's life." The Central Prison is also witnessing tangible development at all levels, whether in the field of educational or training rehabilitation, thanks to the presence of an educated and effective leadership in its performance.
