Arabian Sea - Yemen: The Ansar Allah group (Houthis) announced the execution of a military operation targeting Lod Airport (Ben Gurion) in the occupied Jaffa area, using a hypersonic ballistic missile of the "Palestine 2" type. The group's military spokesman said in a statement that the operation "achieved its goal successfully," causing "millions of Zionists to flee to shelters and the airport's operations to stop." The statement affirmed that Yemen is "continuing its operations in support of the oppressed and starving people of the Palestinian people, in support of their resistance and in support of their steadfastness," stressing the continuation of military operations "until the siege is lifted and the aggression against Gaza is stopped." For its part, the Israeli occupation army announced on Tuesday that it had detected the launch of a missile from Yemen, noting the activation of sirens in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and other areas following the operation. In the same context, Hebrew media reported the suspension of landing and takeoff operations at "Ben Gurion" Airport as a result of the missile launch, noting that the airport's airspace was closed, and planes were forced to circle in the air.
