Yemen: Urgent health circular in Hadramout and raising maximum readiness in hospitals.

The Public Health and Population Office in Wadi and Desert Hadramout issued an urgent circular today to all government and private hospitals and health facilities, mandating raising the level of maximum readiness and strengthening emergency capabilities, in light of the current situation in the governorate. The Director General of the Office, Dr. Hani Khaled Al-Amoudi, directed the circular to the head of the Seiyun General Hospital Authority, directors of health offices in the directorates, and private health centers, stressing the need to take all necessary measures to raise the efficiency of readiness and preparedness for any health or security emergency. Urgent measures include departments and medical staff The circular stressed the importance of strengthening emergency departments with medicines and medical supplies, supporting them with sufficient medical and technical staff, in addition to ensuring the readiness of ambulances and providing sufficient quantities of medical oxygen in health facilities.
