The Chairman of the Leadership Council listened to a report from Governor Al-Khanbashi on the ongoing efforts led by the local authority and the Security Committee, in cooperation with various local components, to normalize the situation, protect public tranquility, and social peace in the governorate. The Chairman of the Leadership Council affirmed full support for the leadership of the local authority to carry out its constitutional duties, defend the prestige of the state, its exclusive powers, and the interests of citizens, and thwart the opportunity for the Houthi group and the organizations colluding with it to tamper with the security and stability of Hadramout. Al-Alimi pointed out that Hadramout was and will remain the locomotive of the state, development, and a fundamental pillar in the national republican project, calling on all forces, tribal authorities, and political components in the governorate to give priority to the language of wisdom, unite ranks, and rally around the leadership of the local authority and its national institutions. The President renewed the state's commitment to enabling the people of Hadramout to manage their resources and achieve their aspirations for development and fair representation in power and wealth, stressing that the only way to achieve these aspirations is through the unity of the people of Hadramout, protecting gains and public interests, enhancing security and stability, and fortifying the governorate from attempts at polarization or chaos. The Chairman of the Leadership Council affirmed that the Council and the government will work with full responsibility with the leadership of the local authority in order to normalize the situation and support any good efforts to settle internal disputes, warning that any field escalation will harm the interests of citizens and their basic services, and will open the door to risks that must be avoided by all means.
