Governor of Hadramaut emphasizes the seriousness of the situation and the importance of solidarity.

During an expanded meeting of the executive authority in Mukalla today, the Governor of Hadramout, Salem Al-Khanbashi, stressed that the governorate is facing a critical stage that requires strengthening the unity of Hadramout and maintaining its stability, in addition to improving the basic services provided to the population. The meeting discussed the performance of the service sectors and plans to implement the investment program for 2025, in line with development trends until 2029, in addition to reviewing the needs of urgent projects and the interventions required to address pressing challenges. Al-Khanbashi, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Saleh Al-Amqi, and the governorate's agents, affirmed that the success of the executive authority depends on the integration of its roles and its work as a single system, noting that the responsibility at this stage requires unifying efforts and prioritizing the interest of Hadramout above any other considerations. The governor also directed the concerned parties in the coast and the valley to quickly hold a joint meeting to prepare the 2026 budget project, focusing on financial discipline and rationalizing spending, in addition to committing to holding executive office meetings regularly to ensure administrative stability. Al-Khanbashi warned that providing basic services efficiently and continuously is the cornerstone of the local authority's work in the coming period, stressing the need to redouble efforts to preserve the unity of Hadramout and strengthen its cohesion.
