Yemen: Commander of the First Military Region Discusses with Hadramout Tribes Enhancing Coordination to Support Security and Stability

The commander of the First Military Region and commander of the 37th Armored Brigade, Major General Saleh Al-Jaeemlani, held a meeting today in Seiyun with the head of the Hadramout Tribes Reference, Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Al-Kathiri, and a number of members of the Reference, during which they discussed military and security developments and mechanisms for strengthening the partnership between the armed forces and the tribal and social components in the governorate. The two sides affirmed that maintaining the security and stability of Hadramout is a shared responsibility that requires concerted efforts by the military and security establishment and the societal and political components, in a way that guarantees the protection of public tranquility and the consolidation of the state's presence and the rule of law. During the meeting, Major General Al-Jaeemlani reiterated the keenness of the leadership of the First Military Region to strengthen channels of communication and cooperation with the tribal reference and all segments of society, pointing out that the role of the tribes represents a fundamental pillar in supporting the state and strengthening the social fabric. For their part, the head and members of the Hadramout Tribes Reference affirmed their continued readiness to support the efforts of the local authority and the military establishment, and to cooperate in everything that contributes to enhancing security and stability in the governorate, praising the spirit of coordination between the two parties.
