The Ninth Session of the Egyptian-Algerian Higher Committee Convenes in Cairo to Strengthen Bilateral Partnership

Today in Cairo, the ninth session of the Egyptian-Algerian Joint Higher Committee was held, chaired by the Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, and the Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Grib, with the participation of a number of ministers and officials from both countries. The session's work included discussing files of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, commercial, transportation, rail and electrical interconnection, communications and information technology, and renewable energy fields, in addition to exchanging experiences to face common challenges. During the session, a number of memoranda of understanding and cooperation protocols were signed in the fields of housing and urban development, local development, public administration and civil service, and the transition to new and renewable energies. In the joint press conference, the Algerian Prime Minister affirmed that the session achieved positive results that reflect the richness and diversity of the Algerian-Egyptian partnership, praising the dynamism of the relations between the two countries, and stressing that strengthening cooperation is not just an ordinary bilateral relationship, but a strategic response to current regional challenges. He added that the partnership between the two countries has become a promising framework for achieving integration and maximizing mutual benefit, praising the role of investors from both countries in promoting joint economic projects in the energy, industry, agriculture and services sectors. The Algerian Prime Minister stressed the importance of following up on the implementation of the session's outcomes at all levels to achieve further integration and joint growth, expressing his appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality that his country's delegation received from their Egyptian brothers.
