Voting in the second phase of the Egyptian House of Representatives elections for 2025 began today, Monday, with 34,611,991 voters eligible to cast their ballots in this phase, according to the National Elections Authority. The Authority explained that the voting process inside Egypt will continue until tomorrow, Tuesday, November 25, according to the scheduled timetable. The official results of the phase are expected to be announced on December 2, while the runoff - if needed - will be held abroad on December 15 and 16, and at home on December 17 and 18, with the final result announced on December 25, 2025. The second phase witnesses wide participation in 13 governorates across 73 electoral districts, in which 1,316 candidates are competing individually, in addition to the lists in the Cairo, Central and Southern Delta, and Eastern Delta sectors, with intensive preparations to secure the electoral process and ensure its smooth flow efficiently.
