The Lahj Governorate Police have opened an extensive investigation into the discovery of the body of a 26-year-old man, found dumped on the side of the public road leading to the Alam checkpoint in the Dar area, under mysterious circumstances. Security sources reported that a team from the Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence departments, led by the Director of Investigations in the governorate, began a field visit to the scene of the incident, where inspection procedures were carried out, fingerprints and surrounding traces were lifted, and initial inferences were collected. The body was transferred to the morgue in the hospital in preparation for presenting it to the forensic doctor and subjecting it to advanced technical examinations, with the aim of determining the cause and time of death. The police confirmed that investigations are still ongoing, and that investigation teams are working to track all leads related to the case, including technical and medical examinations, until all the circumstances of the incident and the reasons that led to the young man's death are revealed.
